Salford City vs. Leigh Genesis preview
By Matt Lawton August 4 2008
Leigh Genesis complete their pre-season programme tomorrow evening when they make the short journey down the East Lancashire Road to take on UniBond League Division One North neighbours Salford City at Moor Lane (7:45pm kick off) in Leigh's final friendly of the summer.

Moor Lane, a ground some Leythers may recall as a one-time home of Swinton Lions RLFC, is situated in the Kersal area of Salford, not far from Prestwich (junction 17 on the M60).

This season is Salford's first at UniBond League Division One level after they won promotion last year as runners up in the North West Counties league.

Genesis wil be determined to make up for the disappointment of losing 2-1 to Trafford on Saturday and end their pre-season campaign on a note as high as it began with the 5-0 win over Atherton Collieries.

Admission is £5 for adults, £2 for concessions with kick off at 7:45pm.
