Renault F1 has declared that it has plans to announce the team's engine strategy for 2004 next Tuesday May 27th. Renault very recently announced the departure of F1 engine guru Jean Jacques His from the team at the end of this month.

Renault F1 has declared that it has plans to announce the team's engine strategy for 2004 next Tuesday May 27th. Renault very recently announced the departure of F1 engine guru Jean Jacques His from the team at the end of this month.
Now suddenly Renault has announced the unveiling of their engine startegy for the next season.
The communication reads as follows:
"On Tuesday 27th of May The Mild Seven Renault F1 Team will announce its engine strategy for 2004 through an exclusive interview with Managing Director Flavio Briatore."
It has been heavily commented the interest of Briatore to go back to a 90º angle engine after the wide angle engine has failed to get to the levels of their competitors in terms of power.
